A dielectric microwave resonant cavity and a tuning method thereof

Abstract

The present invention provides a dielectric microwave resonant cavity, comprising a resonant cavity body, a dielectric body arranged at the center of the internal cavity of the resonant cavity body, and at least one detachable tuning dielectric ring nested in the dielectric body, wherein the tuning dielectric ring is slidable along the axial direction of the dielectric body. The present invention also provides a corresponding tuning method of the dielectric microwave resonant cavity. The dielectric microwave resonant cavity of the present invention adjusts the frequency of the entire microwave resonant cavity by sliding and adjusting the tuning dielectric ring. The tuning method of the resonant cavity adjusts the frequency of the cavity by using the dielectric adjustment ring through sliding displacement, thereby realizing cavity tuning without changing the structure of the cavity or the medium, thereby realizing a convenient and fast cavity tuning method.
