Functionalized polyvinyl alcohol material and method for its preparation

Abstract

The application provides a functionalized polyvinyl alcohol material and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the field of polyvinyl alcohol material preparation. The preparation method of the functionalized polyvinyl alcohol material comprises the following steps: a modified silica preparation step, wherein silica is dispersed in anhydrous toluene, an amino modifier is added drop by drop, and after temperature rising, refluxing, cooling, washing and vacuum drying, modified silica is prepared; and a polyvinyl alcohol composite film preparation step, wherein the modified silica is dispersed in deionized water, polyvinyl alcohol is added, after temperature rising, stirring and temperature falling, (1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride) and N-hydroxysuccinimide are added respectively, a carboxyl-containing quaternary phosphonium salt is added, and after reaction, standing and membrane scraping are performed. The synthesis process of the functionalized polyvinyl alcohol material and the preparation method thereof are simple, and the prepared functionalized polyvinyl alcohol material has remarkable hydrophobicity and antibacterial effect.
