The application discloses a layered face snapshot picture clustering method and device based on region division, and the method comprises the following steps: S1, a clustering ID of a track face picture is generated by a regional clustering node; wherein the track face picture comprises a face snapshot picture, time and a place; S2, high-frequency clustering IDs in the clustering IDs are combined by a clustering summary node to obtain a clustering group ID and a belonging degree of the high-frequency clustering IDs; and S3, a clustering ID of a track face picture to be processed is acquired through the regional clustering node and the clustering summary node.
