The method for promoting autophagy of organisms comprises: reducing the expression of TM9SF1 gene to improve lung tissue autophagy. In the present application, by reducing the expression of TM9SF1 gene, not only the lung tissue autophagy of organisms is effectively improved, but also the acute lung injury can be effectively treated; the gene regulation is used instead of the traditional drug regulation, and the method has higher targeting and safety.
