A control system and method for improving the cutting accuracy of a plate double-sided shear

Abstract

The application discloses a control system and method for improving cutting precision of a double-sided plate shearing machine, and belongs to the technical field of detection systems. The control system comprises a PLC module, a remote IO cabinet and a frequency converter. The PLC module, the remote IO cabinet and the frequency converter transmission cabinet are connected through a Profibus-DP network for data communication. A laser marking width adjusting motor, a rack width transverse moving motor and a shearing blade gap adjusting motor are controlled by the frequency converter. The cutting precision of the double-sided plate shearing machine is controlled within a range of 4-6 mm through accurate positioning control of the rack width of the double-sided plate shearing machine, accurate positioning control of a laser marking device, re-measurement of the rack width of the shearing machine by a laser range finder, and laser line reference alignment and calibration of the shearing blade and the laser marking device. The cutting precision of the double-sided plate shearing machine in a plate mill is greatly improved.
