When executing the method, the system side detects in real time whether there is an application to be upgraded for version upgrade. When there is an application to be upgraded for version upgrade, if the application to be upgraded is an application whose usage frequency exceeds the preset frequency standard within a preset time period, the user is prompted to perform a version data backup operation for the application to be upgraded; when the user triggers the version data backup operation for the application to be upgraded, the system side responds to the user-triggered version data backup operation for the application to be upgraded, and backs up the version data of the application to be upgraded before the upgrade. In this way, when the version of a commonly used application becomes unstable after the upgrade, it can be rolled back to the previous stable version in time without affecting the user experience. It is also possible to perform targeted screening of applications without wasting storage space.
