Abstract

This invention discloses a metal-supported solid oxide fuel cell stack and sealing method, comprising, from top to bottom, an upper end plate, nickel foam I, an insulating sealing layer I, a semi-bipolar plate I, an insulating sealing layer II, a solid oxide fuel cell module I, a solid oxide fuel cell module II, an insulating sealing layer III, a solid oxide fuel cell module III, an insulating sealing layer IV, nickel foam II, and a lower end plate. This invention employs the above-described structure for a metal-supported solid oxide fuel cell stack and sealing method. The various parts of the solid oxide fuel cell module I are welded together, reducing the number of sealing interfaces, improving the reliability of the stack sealing, reducing the use of sealing materials, and lowering costs.
