The disclosure provides a multicast control method, device and electronic equipment, relates to the technical field of artificial intelligence, in particular to the technical field of cloud computing, cloud network and the like, and can be applied to the intelligent cloud scene. The specific implementation scheme is as follows: a network controller obtains a multicast requirement of an object; the multicast requirement comprises a multicast source identifier, a multicast group identifier, a source private cloud identifier and a target private cloud identifier; the target private cloud identifier is different from the source private cloud identifier; according to the source private cloud identifier and the target private cloud identifier, a plurality of gateways successively passing through in a multicast path are determined; then, in combination with the multicast source identifier and the multicast group identifier, a to-be-added multicast forwarding table entry of a target gateway in the multicast path is determined; the target gateway is a gateway other than the last gateway in the multicast path; and according to the to-be-added multicast forwarding table entry of the target gateway, the multicast forwarding table of the target gateway is updated, so that the multicast scene across private clouds can be supported, and the multicast efficiency is improved.
