[0021] The present invention will now be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and not intended to limit it. Furthermore, it should be noted that, for ease of description, the accompanying drawings show only the parts relevant to the present invention, and not all of the structures.

[0022] Figure 1 This is a schematic diagram of the structure of a display panel provided in the prior art; Figure 2 yes Figure 1 A schematic diagram of a cross section along the AA' direction.

[0023] Combination Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, in the display panel 100 where the under-display camera (CUP) is set, from a display perspective, it is necessary to ensure that the display effect of the CUP area of the display screen is consistent with that of other surrounding areas. In addition, in order to ensure the photo-taking effect, the transmittance of the CUP area also needs to be increased to meet the amount of light entering the camera.

[0024] To ensure the transmittance of the CUP area, it is typically necessary to increase the area ratio of the light-transmitting zone. This requires reducing the aperture ratio of the sub-pixels P0 in the CUP area compared to the normal area of the display panel 100. However, this decrease in aperture ratio also leads to an increase in the current density of the CUP area relative to the normal area (Organic Light Emitting Diode, OLED), significantly reducing device lifespan and impacting the overall performance of the display panel. Furthermore, in the dark-state off-screen state of the display panel 100, there is an inconsistency in the reflectivity of the CUP area and surrounding areas to ambient light, resulting in differences in display brightness and ultimately affecting the display consistency of the panel.

[0025] It should be noted that the display panel 100 also includes other film layers, such as the substrate 101, the driving circuit layer 102, the light-emitting layer 103, the light-filtering layer 104, and the cover plate 105. Multiple film layers work together to achieve the normal display of the display panel 100, which will not be listed one by one here.

[0026] Based on the aforementioned technical problems, the inventors further developed the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention. Specifically, the embodiments of the present invention provide a display panel, including a display area, which includes a conventional display area and a device setting area, wherein the conventional display area at least partially surrounds the device setting area; the conventional display area includes a first sub-pixel and a first filter structure, wherein the first filter structure is located on the light-emitting side of the first sub-pixel; the device setting area includes a second sub-pixel and a second filter structure, wherein the second filter structure is located on the light-emitting side of the second sub-pixel; the first sub-pixel includes a first light-emitting layer and a first electrode, wherein the first electrode is located on the side of the first light-emitting layer near the filter structure; the second sub-pixel includes a second light-emitting layer and a second electrode, wherein the second electrode is located on the side of the second light-emitting layer near the filter structure; the thickness of the second electrode is less than the thickness of the first electrode. The first sub-pixel further includes a first red pixel and a first blue pixel, and the second sub-pixel further includes a second red pixel and a second blue pixel; the first filter structure includes a first red filter structure and a first blue filter structure, the first red filter structure being located on the light-emitting side of the first red pixel, and the first blue filter structure being located on the light-emitting side of the first blue pixel; the second filter structure includes a second red filter structure and a second blue filter structure, the second red filter structure being located on the light-emitting side of the second red pixel, and the second blue filter structure being located on the light-emitting side of the second blue pixel; the thickness of the second red filter structure is less than the thickness of the first red filter structure, and the thickness of the second blue filter structure is greater than the thickness of the first blue filter structure.

[0027] By adopting the above technical solution, compared with the conventional display area, reducing the cathode thickness of the device setting area can achieve the purpose of increasing the luminous efficiency of the device setting area, reducing the current density of the device setting area, and improving the device life of the device setting area. At the same time, the film thickness of the filter structure of the conventional display area and the device setting area can be differentiated to balance the display consistency of the reflection of the device setting area and the conventional display area in the display state and the dark screen-off state, thus ensuring the display effect of the display panel.

[0028] The above is the core idea of this invention. The technical solutions in the embodiments of this invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Based on the embodiments of this invention, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative effort are within the scope of protection of this invention.

Figure 8 In the figure, the horizontal axis represents the ratio of the cathode thickness D2 of the sub-pixel in the device setting area to the cathode thickness D1 of the sub-pixel in the conventional display area, and the vertical axis represents the ratio of the thickness H2 of the filter structure corresponding to the sub-pixel in the device setting area to the thickness H1 of the filter structure corresponding to the sub-pixel in the conventional display area. Figure 9 In the figure, the horizontal axis represents the ratio of the cathode thickness D2 of the sub-pixel in the device setting area to the cathode thickness D1 of the sub-pixel in the regular display area, and the vertical axis represents the color difference ΔE between the regular display area and the device setting area of the display panel. The unit is NBS. The larger the value of ΔE, the greater the color difference.

[0030] Combination Figures 3-4 As shown, the display panel 200 provided in this embodiment of the invention includes a display area AA, which includes a conventional display area A1 and a device setting area A2. The conventional display area A1 at least partially surrounds the device setting area A2. The conventional display area A1 includes a first sub-pixel P1 and a first filter structure CF1, with the first filter structure CF1 located on the light-emitting side of the first sub-pixel P1. The device setting area A2 includes a second sub-pixel P2 and a second filter structure CF2, with the second filter structure CF2 located on the light-emitting side of the second sub-pixel P2. The first sub-pixel P1 includes a first light-emitting layer 31 and a first electrode 32, with the first electrode 32 located on the side of the first light-emitting layer 31 close to the first filter structure CF1. The second sub-pixel P2 includes a second light-emitting layer 41 and a second electrode 42, with the second electrode 42 located on the side of the second light-emitting layer 41 close to the second filter structure CF2. The thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 is less than the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32.

[0031] Specifically, in combination Figures 3-4As shown, the display panel 200 provided in this embodiment of the invention includes an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panel. The display area (Active Area, AA) of the display panel 200 includes a conventional display area A1 and a device placement area A2. The conventional display area A1 is used for normal image display, and the conventional display area A1 at least partially surrounds the device placement area A2. The device placement area A2 may correspond to the area where components such as an under-display camera, infrared sensor, and earpiece are installed. In this example, the installation of an under-display camera (CUP) in the device placement area A2 is used for illustration.

[0032] Combination Figures 4-6 As shown, taking OLED as an example, in the CUP-based display panel 200, the conventional display area A1 includes multiple first sub-pixels P1 and a first filter structure CF1. The first sub-pixels P1 can be any sub-pixel emitting a specific color within the conventional display area A1, such as a red, green, or blue sub-pixel. The light emitted by the multiple first sub-pixels of different colors is mixed to display an image in the conventional display area A1. This application sets a first filter structure CF1 with the same emitted color as the first sub-pixel P1 on its light-emitting side to filter the light emitted by the first sub-pixel P1, thereby improving the purity of the emitted light.

[0033] Similar to the conventional display area A1, the device setting area A2 includes multiple second sub-pixels P2 and a second filter structure CF2. The second sub-pixels P2 can be any color-emitting sub-pixel within the device setting area A2, such as red, green, or blue. The light emitted by multiple second sub-pixels of different colors is mixed and then used to display an image in the device setting area A2. Based on the emitted color of the second sub-pixel P2, a second filter structure CF2 of the same color is set on its emitting side to filter the light emitted by the second sub-pixel P2, thereby improving the purity of the emitted light. Setting the aperture ratio of the second sub-pixels P2 in the conventional display area A1 to be smaller than that of the first sub-pixels P1 in the conventional display area A1 helps to improve the transmittance of the conventional display area A1 to ambient light, meeting the application requirements of components such as cameras, infrared sensors, and earpieces. The aperture ratio refers to the ratio between the area of the light-transmitting portion after excluding the wiring and transistor portions of each sub-pixel and the total area of each sub-pixel. A higher aperture ratio results in higher light transmission efficiency.

[0034] In some embodiments, the first light-emitting layer 31 and the second light-emitting layer 41 can be co-layered, and their materials can be low-molecular-weight or high-molecular-weight organic materials. The first electrode 32 is the cathode of the first sub-pixel P1, and the second electrode 42 is the cathode of the second sub-pixel P2. The materials include transparent conductive materials such as ITO (indium tin oxide), IZO (indium zinc oxide), and ITO / Ag / ITO. In one embodiment, the materials of the cathodes of the first sub-pixel P1 and the second sub-pixel P2 can be silver, which allows light transmission when its thickness is small. Typically, the first electrode 32 and the second electrode 42 are fabricated as a single layer. The first sub-pixel P1 also includes a first anode 33, and the second sub-pixel P2 also includes a second anode 43. Applying a voltage to the first electrode 32 and the first anode 33 causes the first light-emitting layer 31 to emit light, and applying a voltage to the second electrode 42 and the second anode 43 causes the second light-emitting layer 41 to emit light. The materials of the first anode 33 and the second anode 43 include metals such as Cr, Pt, Ru, Au, Ag, Mo, Al, W, Cu, and / or AlNd.

[0035] It should be noted that, continuing to combine Figures 4-6 As shown, the display panel 200 also includes other film layers, such as a substrate 201, a driving circuit layer 202, a light-emitting layer 203, a light-filtering layer 204, and a cover plate 205. The substrate 201 can be a rigid material such as glass or silicon wafer, or a flexible material such as ultra-thin glass, metal foil, or polymer plastic. The first sub-pixel P1 and the second sub-pixel P2 are located in the light-emitting layer 203; the first light-filtering structure CF1 and the second light-filtering structure CF2 are located in the light-filtering layer 204. The driving circuit layer 202 may include multiple thin film transistors (TFTs), storage capacitors, and metal traces (not shown in the figure). The drain of the thin film transistor TFT is electrically connected to the first anode of the first sub-pixel and the second anode of the second sub-pixel through a connecting electrode. The driving circuit layer 202 is used to provide driving voltage to the first sub-pixel P1 and the second sub-pixel P2, driving the first sub-pixel P1 and the second sub-pixel P2 to emit light. In this invention, multiple film layers work together to achieve normal display of the display panel. Those skilled in the art can clearly understand this based on the prior art, and it will not be explained one by one here.

[0036] In OLED display panels based on a CUP structure, the cathode thickness of the OLED device in the conventional display area A1 needs to consider both the microcavity effect and the IR drop. As the cathode thickness D of the light-emitting device decreases, the IR drop increases; therefore, the cathode thickness of the conventional display area A1 needs to be designed with a trade-off between these two factors. However, for the device placement area A2, the light-emitting area of the second sub-pixel P2 is relatively smaller than that of the first sub-pixel P1 in the conventional display area A1, so the IR drop effect during power supply switching can be ignored. IR drop includes static IR drop and dynamic IR drop. Static IR drop is the voltage drop caused by the resistance of the metal interconnects themselves; therefore, static IR drop is related to the structure and wiring details of the power network. Dynamic IR drop is the voltage drop caused by current fluctuations during power supply switching.

[0037] On this basis, continue to combine Figure 4 As shown, the cathode thickness of the device setting area A2 can be reduced relative to the cathode of the conventional display area A1. For example, when forming the cathode by vapor deposition, the vapor deposition parameters of different areas can be controlled to form cathodes of different thicknesses. In the figure, along the Z direction, the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 is less than the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32, i.e., D2 <D1。

[0038] For example, using a half-tone mask (HTM) process, by controlling the transmittance of different mask processes, in the photolithography process of the first electrode 32 and the second electrode 42, more of the second electrode 42 is etched along the z-direction in the figure, so that the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 is less than the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32, i.e., D2 <D1。

[0039] Further integration Figure 7As shown, tests revealed that as the cathode thickness D2 of the light-emitting device in device setting area A2 decreases, the luminous intensity RL of the corresponding light-emitting device gradually increases. For example, when the cathode thickness D2 = 32 nm, the relative luminous efficiency RL of the sub-pixel is < 6500; when the cathode thickness D2 = 24 nm, the relative luminous efficiency of the sub-pixel is 7000 < RL < 7500. Therefore, it can be seen that by adopting the technical solution of reducing the cathode thickness of the device setting area A2 proposed in this invention, the luminous efficiency of the sub-pixels in the device setting area A2 can be increased. Compared with the display panel that does not reduce the cathode thickness in the device setting area A2, the device setting area A2 does not need a large current density to achieve the same luminous efficiency as the conventional display area A1 while maintaining the same luminous efficiency. Therefore, by adopting the technical solution of reducing the cathode thickness of the device setting area A2 in this application, the current density of the device setting area A2 can be reduced, the device life of the device setting area A2 can be improved, and the display effect of the display panel can be enhanced. Furthermore, since the cathode thickness of the device setting area A2 is reduced, the transmittance of the device setting area A2 to ambient light can also be improved, which is beneficial to improving the detection performance of the CUP element in the device setting area A2.

[0040] Based on the above embodiments, continue to combine Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, both the conventional display area A1 and the device setting area A2 typically contain sub-pixels, and a filter layer 204 is provided on the light-emitting side of each sub-pixel to improve display contrast. However, the size, number, and arrangement density of the second sub-pixel P2 in the device setting area A2 differ from those of the first sub-pixel P1 in the conventional display area A1. Tests revealed that when the cathode thickness of the sub-pixels in the conventional display area A1 and the device setting area A2 is differentiated, in the dark-off state, as the cathode thickness decreases, the reflectivity of the device setting area A2 to external light decreases, affecting the color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the conventional display area to some extent, resulting in a difference in display between the two areas. Based on this, this embodiment of the invention further adjusts the thickness of the filter structure in the filter layer 204 on the light-emitting side of the second sub-pixel P2 in the device setting area A2 to balance the reflection consistency between the device setting area and the conventional display area, thereby reducing the color difference ΔE between them.

[0041] Combination Figures 4-8 As shown, the first sub-pixel P1 further includes a first red pixel R1, a first green pixel G1, and a first blue pixel B1; the second sub-pixel P2 further includes a second red pixel R2, a second green pixel G2, and a second blue pixel B2; the first filter structure CF1 includes a first red filter structure CF R1 First green filter structure CF G1 and the first blue filter structure CFB1 The first red filter structure CF R1 Located on the light-emitting side of the first red pixel R1, the first green filter structure CF G1 Located on the light-emitting side of the first green pixel G1, the first blue filter structure CF B1 Located on the light-emitting side of the first blue pixel B1; the second filter structure CF2 includes a second red filter structure CF R2 Second green filter structure CF G2 Second blue filter structure CF B2 The second red filter structure CF R2 Located on the light-emitting side of the second red pixel R2, the second green filter structure CF G2 Located on the light-emitting side of the second green pixel G2, the second blue filter structure CF B2 Located on the light-emitting side of the second blue pixel B2; as the ratio D2 / D1 of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 gradually decreases, the second red filter structure CF... R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The ratio H R2 / H R1 Gradually decreasing, the second green filter structure CF G2 Thickness H G2 With the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H G1 The ratio H G2 / H G1 The basic structure remains unchanged, the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The ratio H B2 / H B1 Gradually increase.

[0042] Specifically, in combination Figures 4-8 As shown, taking the first red pixel R1, the first green pixel G1 and the first blue pixel B1 adjacent to the conventional display area A1, and the second red pixel R2, the second green pixel G2 and the second blue pixel B2 adjacent to the device setting area A2 as examples, the first red pixel R1 and the second red pixel R2 both emit red wavelength light, the first green pixel G1 and the second green pixel G2 both emit green wavelength light, and the first blue pixel B1 and the second blue pixel B2 both emit blue wavelength light.

[0043] Specifically, in combination Figure 4 and Figure 8 , Figure 9As shown, during testing, it was discovered that by adjusting the thickness of different color filter structures in the device setting area A2, the transmittance of external light in the device setting area A2 can be changed, thereby reducing the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1. Specific embodiments are listed below to further illustrate how this application differentiates the design of the thickness of different color filter structures in the device setting area A2.

[0044] In some embodiments, combined with Figure 4 and Figure 8 As shown, in this application, the ratio of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 in the display panel device setting area A2 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 in the conventional display area A1 is D2 / D1 = 0.90, and the second red filter structure CF... R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The ratio H R2 / H R1 =1.55, second green filter structure CF G2 Thickness H G2 With the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H G1 The ratio H G2 / H G1 =0.75, second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The ratio H B2 / H B1 =0.78.

[0045] In some embodiments, this application sets the display panel parameter D2 / D1 = 0.80, H R2 / H R1 =1.25, H G2 / H G1 =0.60, H B2 / H B1 =0.98.

[0046] In some embodiments, this application sets the display panel parameter D2 / D1 = 0.70, H R2 / H R1 =0.82, H G2 / H G1 =0.62, H B2 / H B1 =1.22.

[0047] In other embodiments, the ratio of the cathode thickness D2 / D1 between the display panel device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1, and the thickness ratio H of different diffraction filter structures are also specified. R2 / H R1 H G2 / H G1 H B2 / H B1 like Figure 8 As shown, these will not be listed individually here. When the thickness of the cathode D2 in the device setting area A2 is reduced, as D2 / D1 decreases from 1 to 0.65, the second red filter structure CF is adjusted. R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The ratio H R2 / H R1 Gradually decrease, towards the second red filter structure CF R2 Thickness H R2 Relative to the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 Gradually thinning the second red filter structure CF R2 Relative to the first red filter structure CF R1 Increased transmittance of external red light; second green filter structure CF G2 Thickness H R2 With the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H R1 The ratio H R2 / H R1 The basic structure remains unchanged, allowing the second green filter structure CF to remain essentially the same. G2 Compared to the first green filter structure CF G1 The transmittance of external green light remains unchanged; the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The ratio H B2 / H B1 Gradually increase, i.e., the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 Gradually thickening, the second blue filter structure CF B2 Compared to the first blue filter structure CF B1 The transmittance of external blue light is reduced by adjusting the second red filter structure CF. R2 Second green filter structure CF G2 Second blue filter structure CF B2The transmittance of external light is affected by the uniformity of reflection of external light between the equalization device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1. It should be noted that the embodiments in this application use the existing display panel parameters D2 / D1 = 1, H... R2 / H R1 =1.70, H G2 / H G1 =0.53, H B2 / H B1 =0.65 is used as the initial reference value for explanation.

[0048] Combination Figure 8 and Figure 9 As shown, in the prior art, when only the cathode thickness in the device setting area of the display panel is reduced, without differentiated adjustment of the filter structure in the device setting area, the value range of D2 / D1 decreases from 1 to 0.65, H R2 / H R1 =1.70, H G2 / H G1 =0.53, H B2 / H B1 =0.65, when the display is in a dark, off-screen state, the color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the regular display area ranges from 1.75 to 2.5 NBS units. However, tests on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the regular display area of the display panel provided in the embodiments of this application revealed that as the thickness of the cathode D2 in the device setting area A2 decreases, this application differentiates the thickness of the filter structure for different colors in the device setting area A2. For example, in some embodiments, D2 / D1 = 0.90, H R2 / H R1 =1.55, H G2 / H G1 =0.75, H B2 / H B1 =0.78, the detected color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the conventional display area is 0.26 NBS units; in some embodiments, D2 / D1 is set to 0.80, H R2 / H R1 =1.25, H G2 / H G1 =0.60, H B2 / H B1 =0.98, the detected color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the conventional display area is 0.24 NBS units; in some embodiments, D2 / D1 is set to 0.70, H R2 / H R1 =0.82, H G2 / H G1 =0.62, H B2 / H B1=1.22, and the detected color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the conventional display area is 0.23 NBS units. Compared with the prior art, the color difference ΔE range between the device setting area and the conventional display area of the display panel provided in this application embodiment is reduced to between 0.0 and 0.5 NBS units. The color difference ΔE between the device setting area and the conventional display area is significantly reduced, indicating that by differentiating the thickness of the filter structure in the device setting area, it is beneficial to balance the display consistency between the device setting area and the conventional display area.

[0049] In summary, the display panel provided by the embodiments of the present invention, compared with the conventional display area, increases the luminous efficiency of the device setting area, reduces the current density of the device setting area, and improves the device lifespan of the device setting area by reducing the cathode thickness of the sub-pixels in the device setting area. Furthermore, the differentiated design of the film thickness of the filter structure on the light-emitting side of the sub-pixels in the conventional display area and the device setting area helps to balance the consistency of the reflection of ambient light between the device setting area and the normal area when the display screen is in a dark, off-screen state, reduces the color difference between the conventional display area and the device setting area, and ensures the normal display and dark display effects of the display panel.

[0050] Figure 10 These are test images showing the cathode thickness variation and color difference of different sub-pixels provided by this invention. Figure 10 The horizontal axis represents the ratio of the cathode thickness D2 of the sub-pixel in the device setting area to the cathode thickness D1 of the sub-pixel in the conventional display area. The vertical axis represents the color difference ΔE of the display panel corresponding to sub-pixels of different emitting colors in the device setting area. The unit is NBS.

[0051] Based on the above embodiments, continue to combine Figures 4-8 As shown, the ratio of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 is A = D2 / D1; the second red filter structure CF R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The ratio is R = H R2 / H R1 Second green filter structure CF G2 Thickness H G2 With the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H G1 The ratio is G=H G2 / H G1 Second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The ratio is B=H 2B / HRB , 0 < A < 1; when A ∈ (0.75, 1), G < B < R; when A ∈ (0, 0.75), G < R < B.

[0052] In some embodiments, continue to combine Figures 4-8 As shown, as the ratio of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32, A = D2 / D1, gradually decreases, the thickness ratio of the filter structure in the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 follows the following rule:

[0053] When D2 / D1 is between 0.75 and 1, G = H G2 / H G1 <B=H 2B / H RB <R=H R2 / H R1 When D2 / D1 is between 0 and 0.75, H G2 / H G1 <H R2 / H R1 <H 2B / H RB This application achieves this by reasonably setting the second red filter structure CF R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The ratio R, the second green filter structure CF G2 Thickness H G2 With the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H G1 The ratio is G; the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The ratio B is achieved by reducing the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42, thereby reducing the current density of the device setting area and improving the device life of the device setting area. At the same time, it also takes into account the consistency of the reflection of ambient light between the device setting area and the normal area in the dark and off state of the display screen, reduces the color difference ΔE between the normal display area and the device setting area, and ensures the consistency of normal display and dark display of the display panel.

[0054] It should be noted that the critical value α = 0.75 is based on the existing display panel parameters D2 / D1 = 1, H R2 / H R1 =1.70, H G2 / H G1 =0.53, H B2 / H B1=0.65 as the initial reference value, differentially setting the filter structures of different colors in the device setting region to obtain a reference value. In other embodiments, when the initial reference value changes, the critical value α=0.75 may fluctuate up and down. Exemplarily, the critical value α is 0.76, 0.73, 0.77, etc., but the variation rule of the ratio of the thickness of the filter structures of different colors in the device setting region to the thickness of the filter structures in the conventional display region remains unchanged, that is, 0<α<1, A∈(α, 1), G<B<R is satisfied; when A∈(0, α), G<R<B. In the present application, only the parameter D2 / D1=1 of the display panel, H R2 / H R1 =1.70, H G2 / H G1 =0.53, H B2 / H B1 =0.65 is taken as an example for exemplary description with the initial reference value.

[0055] On the basis of the above embodiments, further in conjunction with Figures 4-8 as shown, when A>0.8, B<1, R>1; when 0.74<A<0.8, B>1, R>1; when A<0.74, B>1, R<1.

[0056] Specifically, in conjunction with Figure 5 , Figure 6 and Figure 8 as shown, in some embodiments, when A=D2 / D1 is set to be greater than 1, B<1 and R>1, which indicates that compared with the conventional display region A1, the thickness of the second blue filter structure CF in the device setting region A2 B2 H B2 is thinned, and the thickness H of the second blue filter structure CF is set B2 B2 to be smaller than the thickness H of the first blue filter structure CF B1 B1 ; which indicates that compared with the conventional display region A1, the second red filter structure CF in the device setting region A2 R2 is thickened, and the thickness H of the second red filter structure CF is set R2 R2 to be greater than the thickness H of the first red filter structure CF R1 R1 , .

[0057] On the basis of the above embodiments, further in conjunction with Figures 4-8 as shown, the thickness H of the second green filter structure CF G2 G2 and the thickness H of the first green filter structure CF G1 G1 The rate of change of the ratio G relative to the ratio A of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 is ΔG, and the second red filter structure CF R2 Thickness H R2 With the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The rate of change of the ratio R relative to the ratio A of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 is ΔR, and the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 With the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The rate of change of the ratio B relative to the ratio A of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 and the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 is ΔB. The rate of change of the filter structures of different colors in the device setting area satisfies the following relationship:

[0058] │ΔG│<│ΔR│<│ΔB│.

[0059] Specifically, |ΔG| is Figure 8 The slope of the tangent line to curve G, |ΔR| is Figure 8 The slope of the tangent line to curve R, |ΔB| is Figure 8 The slope of the tangent line of curve B gradually decreases as the ratio of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32, A = D2 / D1, follows the following rule for setting the thickness ratio of the filter layer in the device setting area and the conventional display area:

[0060] │ΔG│=│H G2 -H G1 / H G1 │<│ΔR│=│H R2 -H R1 / H R1 │<│ΔB│=│H B2 -H B1 / H B1

[0061] │

[0062] This indicates that the second blue filter structure CF B2 Thickness H B2 Relative to the first blue filter structure CF B1 Thickness H B1 The rate of increase is the greatest, second red filter structure CF R2 Thickness H R2 Relative to the first red filter structure CF R1 Thickness H R1 The rate of thinning is the second highest, followed by the second green filter structure CF. G2 Thickness H G2Compared to the first green filter structure CF G1 Thickness H G1 The substrate remains unchanged or is slightly enlarged. This application reduces the thickness of the second electrode in the device placement area while differentially adjusting the thickness change rate of the second filter structure in the device placement area. This adjusts the transmittance of external light in the second filter structure and the reflectivity of the second electrode to external light, ensuring that the reflection consistency of the device placement area and the normal area is balanced when the display is in a dark, off-screen state. This reduces the color difference ΔE between the conventional display area and the device placement area, guaranteeing consistency between normal and dark display states.

[0063] Continue to combine Figure 5 , Figure 6 and Figure 10 As shown, the first electrode of the first red pixel R1 is the first red electrode 321, the first electrode of the first blue pixel B1 is the first blue electrode 322, the first electrode of the first green pixel G1 is the first green electrode 323, the second electrode of the second red pixel R2 is the second red electrode 421, the second electrode of the second blue pixel B2 is the second blue electrode 422, and the second electrode of the second green pixel G2 is the second green electrode 423; the thickness D of the first red electrode 321 is... R1 The thickness D of the second red electrode 421 R2 The difference is ΔdR, and the thickness D of the first blue electrode 322 is... B1 With the thickness D of the second blue electrode 422 B2 The difference is ΔdB, and the thickness D of the first green electrode 323 is... G1 The thickness D of the second green electrode 423 G2 The difference is ΔdG, where ΔdG < ΔdR < ΔdB.

[0064] For example, continue to combine Figures 4-6 and Figure 10 As shown, as the cathode thickness D2 of different emitting color sub-pixels in the device setting area A2 decreases relative to the cathode thickness D1 of the sub-pixels in the conventional display area A1, the effect of the cathode thickness change of different emitting color sub-pixels on the color difference ΔE between the display panels varies. Taking the effect of the cathode thickness change of the second red pixel R2, the second green pixel G2, and the second blue pixel B2 on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 of the display panel as an example.

[0065] In some embodiments, such as Figure 10As shown, when the cathodes of the second red pixel R2, the second green pixel G2, and the second blue pixel B2 are of the same thickness, the ratio A = D2 / D1 of the thickness D2 of the second electrode 42 in the device setting area A2 to the thickness D1 of the first electrode 32 decreases from 1 to 0.65. The effect of the cathode thickness change of the second red pixel R2 on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 decreases from 2.2 NBS to approximately 1.55 NBS, with a difference of 0.75 NBS. The effect of the cathode thickness change of the second blue pixel B2 on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 decreases from 2.2 NBS to approximately 1.4 NBS, with a difference of 0.8 NBS. The effect of the cathode thickness change of the second green pixel G2 on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 increases from 2.2 NBS to approximately 2.45 NBS, with a difference of -0.25 NBS. This indicates that the change in cathode thickness of blue pixels has the greatest impact on ΔE, followed by the change in cathode thickness of red pixels, and the change in cathode thickness of green pixels has the least impact on ΔE.

[0066] Based on this, the present invention increases the thickness D of the second red electrode 421. R2 The degree of thinning ΔdR, and the thickness D of the second blue electrode 422 B2 The degree of thinning ΔdB, the thickness D of the second green electrode 423 G2 The degree of thinning ΔdG is designed differently, with ΔdG < ΔdR < ΔdB, where |D R1 -D R2 |=ΔdR,|D B1 -D B2 |=ΔdB,|D G1 -D G2 |=ΔdG can simultaneously reduce the impact of the cathode thickness variation of the second red pixel R2 and the second blue pixel B2 on the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the normal display area A1, thereby reducing the color difference ΔE between the device setting area A2 and the normal display area A1 under dark display conditions.

[0067] This application addresses the impact of cathode thickness on ΔE for sub-pixels of different emitting colors by designing differentiated cathode thickness reduction for sub-pixels of different emitting colors. Compared to existing technologies, this approach can reduce the ΔE value of the display panel while maintaining consistent reflection in the dark and off state, thus ensuring normal display and dark display performance of the display panel.

[0068] Among them, continue to combine Figure 5 and Figure 6As shown, the first anode of the first red pixel R1 is the first red anode 331, and the second anode of the second red pixel R2 is the second red anode 431; the first anode of the first blue pixel B1 is the first blue anode 332, and the second anode of the second blue pixel B2 is the second blue anode 432; the first anode of the first green pixel G1 is the first green anode 333, and the second anode of the second green pixel G2 is the second green anode 433.

[0069] Based on the above embodiments, continue to combine Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, along the first direction Z, at least part of the projection of the second electrode 42 is a hollow pattern.

[0070] For example, at least one of the projections of the second red electrode 421, the second green electrode 423, and the second blue electrode 422 is set as a hollow pattern. By designing the cathodes of the different light-emitting color sub-pixels in the device setting area A2 as hollow patterns, the light transmittance of the device setting area A2 can be improved.

[0071] As an example, continue to combine Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, based on the differential setting of cathode thickness of sub-pixels with different light-emitting colors, a patterned fabrication process is adopted to design one or more of the second red electrode 421 of the second red pixel R2, the second green electrode 423 of the second green pixel G2, and the second blue electrode 422 of the third blue pixel B2 into a hollow pattern. The hollow pattern has a rough surface, which can also reduce the reflectivity of the device setting area A2 to external light and take into account the consistency of reflection of the display screen in the dark and off state.

[0072] It should be noted that "patterning" in this article specifically refers to non-integral structure, that is, structure formed by first creating an integral layer of material and then carving out a specific shape during the manufacturing process.

[0073] In some embodiments, continue to combine Figure 4 As shown, along the first direction Z, the projection of the first electrode 32 and the projection of the second electrode 42 form a continuous pattern; wherein, the first direction is the direction perpendicular to the plane where the display panel is located.

[0074] Specifically, based on the differentiated setting of cathode thickness for sub-pixels with different luminous colors, a patterned fabrication process is adopted to set the cathode surfaces of the device setting area A2 and the conventional display area A1 as continuous patterns, which meets the display requirements of the display panel without the need for additional photolithography processes, thus reducing the difficulty of photolithography processes and fabrication technology for the cathode electrodes.

[0075] Based on the above embodiments, continue to combine Figure 4As shown, the total transmittance of the second filter structure CF2 to ambient light is greater than that of the first filter structure CF1 to ambient light.

[0076] Specifically, based on differentiating the thickness of the second filter structure, the material of the second filter structure can also be changed. For example, a material with lower density can be used or a light transmittance factor can be doped into the filter structure to make the total transmittance of the second filter structure CF2 to the ambient light greater than that of the first filter structure CF1 to the ambient light. This increases the total transmittance of ambient light to each second filter structure CF2 in the device setting area, balances the reflection consistency of the display screen in the dark and off state, ensures the normal display and dark display effect of the display panel, and improves the display effect of the display panel.

[0077] In some embodiments, the first filter structure CF1 and the second filter structure CF2 have the same filter color, and the transmittance of the second filter structure CF2 for the light emitted from the second sub-pixel P2 can be set to be greater than the transmittance of the first filter structure CF1 for the light emitted from the first sub-pixel P1.

[0078] Based on the above embodiments, continue to combine Figure 4 As shown, along the second direction X, the pixel aperture length L1 of the first sub-pixel P1 is greater than the pixel aperture length L2 of the second sub-pixel P2; the width L of the non-overlapping area between the projection of the first filter structure CF1 and the pixel aperture of the first sub-pixel P1 is... 11 The width L of the non-overlapping region between the projection of the second filter structure CF2 and the pixel opening of the second sub-pixel P2 is smaller than that of the second filter structure CF2. 21 The second direction X is parallel to the plane where the display panel is located.

[0079] Specifically, continue to combine Figure 4 As shown, along the first direction Z, the projection of the first filter structure CF1 covers the first sub-pixel P1, and the projection of the second filter structure CF2 covers the second sub-pixel L2. Along any direction in the XY plane, the pixel aperture length L1 of the first sub-pixel P1 is greater than the pixel aperture length L2 of the second sub-pixel P2, meaning the pixel size of the first sub-pixel P1 is larger than that of the second sub-pixel P2. By compressing the pixel size of the second sub-pixel P2, the area ratio of the light-transmitting region in the device setting area is increased.

[0080] Because the size of the second sub-pixel P2 is reduced, the effective light-emitting areas of the first sub-pixel P1 and the second sub-pixel P2 are different, which can easily lead to problems such as different light-emitting ranges and uneven brightness display between the first and second sub-pixels of the same color. This invention addresses this by increasing the width L of the non-overlapping area between the projection of the second filter structure CF2 corresponding to the second sub-pixel P2 and the pixel opening of the second sub-pixel P2. 21This means increasing the filter area of the second filter structure CF2 to filter the wide-angle emitted light from the second sub-pixel P2. This can expand the light emission range of the second sub-pixel P2 to a certain extent, and at the same time make the light emission brightness of the second sub-pixel P2 concentrated from the center to the edge, which is beneficial to improve the consistency of the display effect between the device setting area and the conventional display area.
