This disclosure provides a channel monitoring method, apparatus, device, and storage medium. The channel monitoring method, executed by a user equipment (UE), includes: receiving first downlink control information (DCI); and, after a bandwidth portion (BWP) handover, performing physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring based on one of a first monitoring mode, a second monitoring mode, and a third monitoring mode. Using this method, the UE can determine whether to perform PDCCH monitoring based on PADs received before the BWP handover, depending on the monitoring mode.
