Abstract
According to one aspect of the disclosure, a fastener is provided for securing to an end of a conveyor belt having a cable. The fastener includes a crimp configured to secure to the conveyor belt cable and a connector. The connector has a one-piece fastener body with an upper portion for disposition adjacent an upper surface of the conveyor belt end and a lower portion for disposition adjacent a lower surface of the conveyor belt end. The upper portion and the lower portion are spaced apart to receive the crimp therebetween and to allow the conveyor belt cable to extend in an outward direction between the upper portion and the lower portion. The connector includes a stop arranged to block inward movement of the crimp and the conveyor belt cable secured thereto.
