A moxibustion powder for treating ankylosing spondylitis and its preparation method

Abstract

This invention discloses a moxibustion powder for treating ankylosing spondylitis and its preparation method. The moxibustion powder, by weight, comprises 20-40 parts of black aconite root, 20-40 parts of mulberry mistletoe, 15-25g parts of eucommia bark, 15-25g parts of angelica root, 8-12g parts of strychnos nux-vomica, 8-12g parts of notopterygium root, 8-12g parts of angelica pubescens root, 8-12g parts of fangji root, 8-12g parts of gentian root, and 0.15-0.25g parts of borneol. The preparation method involves washing and drying all raw materials, mixing them thoroughly, stirring for 15-20 minutes, pulverizing them through a 50-70 mesh sieve, stirring again for 15-20 minutes, sterilizing with ultraviolet light, and then packaging them according to specifications. Clinical trials show that the total effective rate of the moxibustion powder provided by this invention is as high as 96.7%, effectively reducing the level of inflammatory factors in ankylosing spondylitis cells, thereby improving the chronic inflammatory state of AS patients.
