Abstract

A control device, a control method, and a computer-readable recording medium that can easily select a registered parking space in a case where a general parking space overlaps with a registered parking space. The control device includes a parking candidate position detection section that performs detection processing of a general parking candidate position based on external recognition data of a vehicle and a registered parking candidate position registered by a user of the vehicle in the past; a display control section that causes a touch panel to display the parking candidate positions detected by the detection processing; a reception section that receives selection of a target parking position from among the displayed parking candidate positions from the user of the vehicle; and a parking control section that causes the vehicle to park at the selected target parking position. In a case where the general parking candidate position and the registered parking candidate position are detected by the detection processing and the general parking candidate position and the registered parking candidate position overlap, the display control section causes the registered parking candidate position to be displayed in preference to the general parking candidate position.
