Rotating shaft device and folding electronic device

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a rotating shaft device and a folding electronic device. The rotating shaft device comprises a base plate and a rotating shaft assembly, the rotating shaft assembly comprising a first transmission assembly, a first support and a second transmission assembly; the first transmission assembly is rotationally connected to the base plate about a first axis, and the first support is rotationally connected to the first transmission assembly about a second axis parallel to the first axis. The second transmission assembly is rotationally connected to the base plate about a third axis parallel to the first axis, and is movably connected to at least one of the first transmission assembly and the first support. When the first transmission assembly rotates relative to the base plate, the first support is driven to rotate relative to the base plate, and at least one of the first transmission assembly and the first support drives the second transmission assembly to rotate relative to the base plate. The rotating shaft assembly as a whole can rotate relative to the base plate without the need to set up additional transmission structures, the response speed is faster, and the material cost is saved.
