Mg-zn-sc-mn magnesium alloy material and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The application belongs to the technical field of magnesium alloy materials, and a novel Mg-Zn-Sc-Mn magnesium alloy material, raw material components and mass percentage contents of which are as follows: Zn: 2.00-6.00%; Sc: 0.01-2.00%; Mn: 0.01-1.00%, and the rest is magnesium and inevitable impurities; compared with the prior art, the application is characterized in that Zn is added to form Mg2Zn precipitation phase with Mg, thereby effectively strengthening the alloy; Sc is added to purify the melt, prevent fire, refine the grains, reduce the thermal cracking tendency of the Mg-Zn alloy during pouring and extrusion, and improve the corrosion resistance of the magnesium alloy; and Mn is added to further control the recrystallization structure and refine the grains. The alloy has excellent degradation performance and controllable mechanical properties, and can be applied to the field of biological medicine.
