A wire rope lubrication device for lifting machinery

Abstract

This invention discloses a wire rope lubrication device for lifting machinery, relating to the field of lifting equipment technology, including a connecting frame. The connecting frame has multiple detection wheels circumferentially distributed around it. Each detection wheel is connected to an axle on one side, and the detection wheel is rotatably connected to the connecting frame via the axle. Rubber clamping blocks are fitted on both the upper and lower sides of the axle, and a clamping force adjustment mechanism is connected between two of the rubber clamping blocks and the connecting frame. This invention relies on the circumferential distribution of multiple detection wheels around the wire rope used in lifting machinery. If the outer wall of the wire rope is smooth, since the axles of each detection wheel are clamped by the rubber clamping blocks, the frictional force generated between the wire rope and the detection wheels during movement cannot overcome the clamping force of the rubber clamping blocks, thus preventing the detection wheels from rotating, i.e., no lubrication is required. If the surface roughness of the wire rope reaches a certain level, the detection wheels can be rotated in conjunction, facilitating the rotation of the rotating brush assembly for oil lubrication.
