Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of feed research technology, and particularly relates to a low molecular weight camel milk-derived recombinant antimicrobial peptide rccP, its preparation method, and its application in mink feed. This invention discloses a low molecular weight camel milk-derived recombinant antimicrobial peptide rccP, the amino acid sequence of which is shown in SEQ ID NO.1. The antimicrobial peptide rccP of this invention is a chimeric peptide that can effectively inhibit Salmonella, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. Furthermore, as described in the specific embodiments of this invention, this antimicrobial peptide exhibits good antibacterial advantages and enhances the immune function of mink during the process of combating Salmonella infection. It is a potential alternative to antibiotics and is expected to be widely used in the field of antibiotic alternatives in feed.
