A sensing service execution method and apparatus thereof

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a sensing service execution method and device, which can be applied to the field of communication technology. The method comprises: a first network device sending a first sensing request to a second network device, the first sensing request being used to request a terminal device in a target cell to register a sensing service; receiving a registration request sent by a first terminal device in the target cell; and in response to the registration request, registering the first terminal device to the sensing service in the target cell. Thus, when the first network device initiates the sensing service in the target cell, the sensing information (such as sensing information related to a communication channel or an environment) of the terminal device that has registered the sensing service in the target cell can be obtained, so as to improve the performance of the communication system according to the sensing information. Compared with the manner in the related art that the sensing information comes from a radio frequency-based sensor and / or a non-radio frequency-based sensor, in the present disclosure, the sensing information can also come from the terminal device, which can improve the flexibility and applicability of the method.
