A fire retardant coating for steel structures based on magnesium ammonium phosphate adhesive and its preparation method and use method

Abstract

The present invention provides a fire-retardant coating for steel structures based on magnesium ammonium phosphate adhesive, and a preparation method and a use method thereof, belonging to the technical field of coatings. The fire-retardant coating of the present invention comprises component A, component B, component C and component D; wherein component A is a mixture of dead-burned magnesium oxide powder, metakaolin, corundum powder and phosphogypsum; component B is a mixture of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and a fire-resistant additive; component C is a mixture of rice husk ash, expanded perlite, expanded vermiculite and basalt fiber; and component D is a retarder. The fire-retardant coating of the present invention can generate magnesium ammonium phosphate adhesive as the main film-forming component, and the ammonia released during the acid-base reaction can be utilized to generate closed fine pores in the hardened coating body, thereby improving the thermal insulation performance of the coating, and the long-term water stability of the hardened coating body is good. Expanded perlite and expanded vermiculite are used as fillers to play a role in fire prevention and heat insulation.
