Outer rotor motor

Abstract

An outer rotor motor includes a motor shaft, an outer rotor assembly and an inner stator assembly; the inner stator assembly includes an inner stator support and an inner stator plastic package; the outer rotor assembly includes an outer rotor housing, the outer rotor housing includes an end wall and an extension part bent inwardly from the end wall, the extension part is held on the motor shaft and includes an outer peripheral surface facing away from the motor shaft and an inner peripheral surface abutting the motor shaft; the outer rotor motor includes a rear bearing between the inner stator plastic package and the extension part, the rear bearing has an inner ring located on the inner side, the inner ring is held on the outer peripheral surface of the extension part. When the outer rotor motor needs to replace a bearing with a larger inner diameter, the outer peripheral surface can be cut in the axial direction, so that the extension part has a larger mounting outer diameter, so that the bearing with a larger inner diameter can be adapted; at the same time, since the motor shaft is mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the extension part, the size of the motor shaft does not need to be changed when replacing the bearing. By such arrangement, the complexity of the process flow is not increased and the influence on the manufacturing cost is also very small.
