The present invention discloses a high-efficiency composite functional filler and a preparation method thereof, comprising a polymer filler and microorganisms, wherein the microorganisms account for 0.1-2% of the total weight of the polymer filler, and the polymer filler comprises the following raw materials by weight: 50-80 parts of high-density polyethylene, 20-50 parts of linear low-density polyethylene, 1-5 parts of polyethylene foaming agent, 1-5 parts of liquid paraffin, 1-5 parts of nucleating agent, 0.1-1 parts of iron powder, 0.1-1 parts of aluminum powder, 0.2-2 parts of activated carbon, and 4-10 parts of diatomaceous earth. The present invention combines the advantages of physical adsorption and biological treatment, can improve the wastewater treatment efficiency, reduce the concentration of pollutants such as organic matter and ammonia nitrogen, and has certain environmental protection, and can also significantly improve the wastewater treatment efficiency. Through the participation of microorganisms, ammonia nitrogen is effectively removed and organic matter is degraded, making wastewater easier to treat.
