Abstract

This invention discloses a copper peroxide nanomaterial with self-releasing oxygen capability, its preparation method, and its applications. The method employs a mild and non-toxic aqueous system, using bovine serum albumin or denatured bovine serum albumin as a capping agent. Under alkaline conditions, a water-soluble divalent copper source reacts with the peroxide in a one-pot reaction to synthesize CuO2 nanomaterials. The reaction conditions of this invention are mild and controllable, with good reproducibility. The capping agent and reducing agent molecules are inexpensive, readily available, safe, and non-toxic. The resulting CuO2 nanoparticles have a large specific surface area, a rough surface, and uniform morphology, and also possess self-releasing oxygen capability. This allows for the combination with lateral immunochromatography to prepare myoglobin immunochromatographic test strips, enabling the immunochromatographic detection of myoglobin.
