The electronic device comprises a flexible display screen, a first frame body, a second frame body and a hinge assembly, the hinge assembly comprises a flexible buffer pad and a hinge body, the first frame body, the second frame body and the hinge assembly are arranged on one side of a non-display end surface of the flexible display screen respectively, the first frame body and the second frame body are fixedly connected with the flexible display screen respectively, and the first frame body is rotationally connected with the second frame body through the hinge body; the flexible buffer pad is arranged between the flexible display screen and the hinge body, and covers a folding area of the non-display end surface, the hinge body comprises an avoiding area; wherein, in the process that the flexible display screen is switched from an unfolded state to a folded state, the flexible display screen extrudes the flexible buffer pad, so that the flexible buffer pad is deformed towards the avoiding area.
