Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to gas-insulated switchgear used in substations and switchyards, and particularly to gas-insulated switchgear using vacuum circuit breakers. Background Technology

[0002] Gas-insulated switchgear plays a crucial role in power systems, providing system protection against short-circuit faults caused by lightning strikes and enabling switching control during system operation. It consists of a vacuum circuit breaker, disconnector, grounding switch, high-speed grounding switch, main busbar, instrument converter, instrument transformer, and cable connections, forming one phase. Then, three phases are connected in parallel to form a single circuit, which is then connected to the main busbar.

[0003] Inside the grounding container of each device, a gas with excellent insulating properties, such as SF6, is sealed, and high-voltage conductors are supported or fixed by insulating spacers and insulating cylinders. This gas-insulated switchgear has a sealed structure and is unaffected by the external environment, thus it is widely used as a highly reliable switchgear. As an example of existing gas-insulated switchgear, the gas-insulated switchgear described in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2014-99381 (Patent Document 1) is known.

[0004] The invention described in Patent Document 1 aims to provide a gas-insulated switchgear that can be miniaturized and reduced in height. Furthermore, the receiving cable introduced from the cable head is electrically connected to the receiving-side disconnect switch, the receiving-side grounding switch, and the surge arrester.

[0005] In the area on the receiving side, the circuit breaker is connected to the receiving cable via a receiving-side disconnecting switch and is connected to a lower disconnecting switch with a grounding switch via an insulating spacer. The lower disconnecting switch with a grounding switch has a grounding electrode on the back side of the gas-insulated container.

[0006] Furthermore, compared to the electrical connection section of the circuit breaker, the side near the grounding electrode has a busbar side electrode, which is connected to one busbar via the main circuit side electrode of the upper-mounted disconnector with a grounding switch. The upper-mounted disconnector with a grounding switch has a grounding electrode on the front surface of the gas-insulated container, and the other busbar is connected between the main circuit electrode of the upper-mounted disconnector with a grounding switch and the grounding electrode.

[0009] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2014-99381 Summary of the Invention

[0010] The problem that the invention aims to solve

[0011] Patent Document 1 describes a gas-insulated switchgear that has a supply unit that supplies power to the load side via the circuit breaker and disconnector, etc., installed in a sealed container containing an insulating gas at a ground potential.

[0012] Then, from a durability point of view, vacuum circuit breakers have been used in gas-insulated switchgear in recent years, which are configured with contact electrodes housed inside a gas-insulating container. Around the contact electrodes arranged inside this vacuum circuit breaker, an arc shield is arranged at a floating potential to protect the insulating shell forming the vacuum container from the electric arc (metal vapor) generated when the contact electrodes interrupt the current.

[0013] Here, the potential of the arc shield of the vacuum circuit breaker, which operates at a floating potential, is determined by the spatial electrostatic capacitance between itself and the surrounding high-voltage components, grounding potential components, and insulating components. However, because the vacuum circuit breaker is located near the sealed container of the grounding potential, the potential of the arc shield of the vacuum circuit breaker is reduced to less than half of the applied voltage on the power supply side.

[0014] In this case, the voltage (potential difference) applied between the contact electrode on one side of the voltage application section and the arc shield increases, so the insulation distance needs to be extended, which presents the problem that the size (volume) of the vacuum circuit breaker cannot be reduced.

[0015] The purpose of this invention is to provide a gas-insulated switchgear that can suppress the rise of voltage (potential difference) applied between the contact electrode on the voltage application side and the arc shield by raising the potential of the arc shield of the vacuum circuit breaker.

[0016] Technical solutions for solving the problem

[0017] To address the aforementioned issues, the present invention provides a gas-insulated switchgear configured to support a vacuum circuit breaker having fixed side electrodes and movable side electrodes, with an arc shield arranged around these electrodes, within a sealed container filled with insulating gas at a ground potential. The vacuum circuit breaker is electrically insulated from the sealed container. The gas-insulated switchgear is characterized by an arc shield voltage regulating conductor made of conductive material, configured such that one end is electrically connected to a high-voltage conductor on the power supply side of the vacuum circuit breaker, and the other end is located near the vacuum circuit breaker at a predetermined spatial distance.

[0018] The effects of the invention

[0019] According to the present invention, by increasing the potential of the arc shield of the vacuum circuit breaker, it is possible to suppress the rise of the voltage (potential difference) applied between the contact electrode on the voltage application section side and the electromagnetic shield. Furthermore, issues, structures, and effects other than those described above will be explained through the following description of the embodiments. Attached Figure Description

[0028] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail using the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and various modifications and applications of the technical concept of the present invention are also included within this scope. Hereinafter, embodiments of the gas-insulated switchgear of the present invention will be described using the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, in each embodiment, the same reference numerals are used for the same constituent parts.

[0029] Example 1

[0030] Figure 1This image shows a side cross-section of a gas-insulated switchgear according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In this gas-insulated switchgear configured as a power receiving unit for general users, a high-voltage equipment component is supported by an insulating support body within a sealed container filled with insulating gas in each gas zone, in a state of electrical insulation from the sealed container.

[0031] For example, in Figure 1 In the first sealed container 10 shown, a vacuum circuit breaker (vacuum valve) 11 is arranged. One end of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 (on the movable electrode side) is connected to the high-voltage conductor 12B on the disconnector side via the high-voltage conductor 12A on the circuit breaker side and the disconnector switch 13. The high-voltage conductor 12B on the disconnector side is then connected to the cable head 14 and led out of the first sealed container 10 in an insulated state, finally connecting to the cable 15. The cable 15 is connected to various load devices (not shown).

[0032] Furthermore, within the first sealed container 10, a grounding switch 16 is installed to ground the high-voltage conductor 12B on the disconnector side during periodic inspections, etc. Within the first sealed container 10, which houses and configures the vacuum circuit breaker 11, disconnector 13, grounding switch 16, and the high-voltage conductors 12A and 12B connected to them, an insulating support member 17 with specified insulation properties is installed. This insulating support member 17 supports the vacuum circuit breaker 11, disconnector 13, grounding switch 16, and the high-voltage conductors 12A and 12B connected to them in a state of electrical insulation from the first sealed container 10. Thus, the first sealed container 10 is at ground potential.

[0033] In addition, the other end (fixed electrode side) of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 is connected to the circuit breaker side high voltage conductor 12C, which is led out to the interior of the second sealed container 19, which is separated from the first sealed container 10 by an insulating spacer 18 and gaseous, and connected to one end of the disconnecting switch 20.

[0034] Furthermore, the other end of the disconnector 20 is connected via a high-voltage conductor 12D to an adjacent device that is gas-separated from the second sealed container 19 by an insulating spacer 21. Within the second sealed container 19, which houses and assembles the disconnector 20 and the high-voltage conductor 12D, an insulating support member 17 with specified insulation properties is provided. This insulating support member 17 supports the disconnector 20 and the high-voltage conductor 12D in a state of electrical insulation from the second sealed container 19. Thus, the second sealed container 19 becomes grounded.

[0035] The movable electrode side of vacuum circuit breaker 11 (the lower side of vacuum circuit breaker), the movable side of disconnecting switch 13 (the left side of disconnecting switch in the figure), the movable side of grounding switch 16 (the left side of grounding switch in the figure), and the movable side of disconnecting switch 20 (the left side of disconnecting switch in the figure) are omitted from detailed illustration. They are connected to the first sealed container 10 and the second sealed container 19 respectively via a connecting mechanism to keep them airtight and connected to the various operating devices arranged in the operating cabinet 22.

[0036] Figure 2 express Figure 1 The cross-section of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 is shown. However, this Figure 2 The arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23, which is a feature of this embodiment, is also shown and will be described later.

[0037] Figure 2 In this vacuum circuit breaker 11, a fixed-side end plate 31 is joined to one end of a cylindrical insulating housing 30; a fixed-side conductor 32 that passes through the fixed-side end plate 31 in an airtight state; a movable-side end plate 33 that is joined to the other end of the cylindrical insulating housing 30; a corrugated bellows 34 that is connected to the movable-side end plate 33 at one end and allows the movable part to be driven; and a movable-side conductor 35 that passes through the bellows 34 in an airtight state, maintains the vacuum, and is driven axially. The internal pressure is maintained at approximately 10. -2 Vacuum below Pa.

[0038] Furthermore, inside the cylindrical insulating housing 30, there is an arc shield 36 with a floating potential supported by the cylindrical insulating housing 30, a fixed-side electrode 37 fixed to the end of the fixed-side conductor 32, and a movable-side electrode 38 fixed to the end of the movable-side conductor 35. The movable-side conductor 35 is connected to an operating mechanism located outside the first sealed container 10 via an operating rod (not shown). The movable-side electrode 38 is driven in conjunction with the driving action of the operating mechanism, thereby enabling the switching of the contact separation between the fixed-side electrode 37 and the movable-side electrode 38, i.e., the open and closed states of the vacuum circuit breaker.

[0039] Here, the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, which operates at a floating potential, is determined by the electrostatic capacitance of the space surrounding the high-voltage component, the grounding potential component, and the insulating component disposed in the first sealed container 10. Therefore, since the vacuum circuit breaker 11 is disposed near the first sealed container 10 at the grounding potential, the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 may drop to less than half of the applied voltage, increasing the voltage (potential difference) between the fixed-side electrode 37 and the arc shield 36. As a result, it is necessary to extend the insulation distance, and there is a problem that the size (volume) of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 cannot be reduced.

[0040] To address this issue, this embodiment proposes a structure that suppresses the rise in voltage (potential difference) between the fixed-side electrode 37 and the arc shield 36 by raising the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11.

[0041] return Figure 1 In this embodiment, the gas-insulated switchgear that supports the vacuum circuit breaker 11 in an insulated state inside the first grounding container 10 is provided with an arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 that is electrically connected to the circuit breaker-side high-voltage conductor 12C disposed inside the first sealed container 10.

[0042] That is, one end 23S of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 is electrically connected to the circuit breaker side high voltage conductor 12C disposed in the first sealed container 10 on the power supply side of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, and the other end 23E is disposed near the vacuum circuit breaker 11 at a "specified spatial distance".

[0043] like Figure 2 As shown, the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 has a "rod-like" shape made of conductive materials such as aluminum or copper, and a circular cross-section. Furthermore, the front end is shaped as a sphere or an arc-shaped surface other than a sphere. This shape is adopted to avoid electric field concentration and discharge phenomena when forming corners. In this embodiment, the sphere is considered as an arc-shaped surface.

[0044] Furthermore, the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 extends to point P where the arc shield 36 is located. Moreover, the direction (axial direction) of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 is determined to be the same as the length direction of the arc shield 36. Here, Figure 2 The spatial distance (D) specified above is a distance that ensures a certain level of insulation performance, preventing discharge between the vacuum circuit breaker 11 and the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23. Furthermore, this distance is a value appropriately determined according to the specifications of the gas-insulated switchgear.

[0045] In the gas-insulated switchgear of this embodiment, by placing the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 (at a predetermined spatial distance) near the vacuum circuit breaker 11, an electrostatic capacitance is generated between the floating potential arc shield 36 disposed inside the cylindrical insulating housing 30 and the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23, so the potential of the floating potential arc shield 36 rises.

[0046] Here, without the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23, the potential of the arc shield 36 with respect to the floating potential is determined by the voltage division of the electrostatic capacitance, which is determined by the distance and relative area between the high-voltage conductors 12A to 12C around the vacuum circuit breaker 11 and the first sealed container 10 with the ground potential.

[0047] The electrostatic capacitance of the first sealed container 10 at the ground potential and the arc shield 36 at the floating potential is greater than that of the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36. Therefore, the impedance of the first sealed container 10 at the ground potential and the arc shield 36 at the floating potential is smaller than that of the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36. The potential of the arc shield 36 is biased towards the ground potential (close to the ground potential).

[0048] That is, the potential difference between the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36 is greater than the potential difference between the first sealed container 10 and the arc shield 36. In this case, a high electric field will inevitably form between the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36 due to the large potential difference, so the insulation distance needs to be extended, resulting in an increase in the size of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 and the gas-insulated switchgear.

[0049] As shown in this embodiment, by arranging the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 near the vacuum circuit breaker 11, the potential of the arc shield 36 is increased. This makes the potential difference between the sealed container 10 and the arc shield 36 approximately equal to the potential difference between the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36. This increases the potential of the arc shield 36 in the vacuum circuit breaker 11, suppressing the voltage rise applied between the voltage application section, i.e., the fixed-side electrode 37, and the arc shield 36. As a result, the distance between the fixed-side electrode 37 and the arc shield 36 can be shortened, thus enabling miniaturization of the vacuum circuit breaker.

[0050] In addition, the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 is connected to the high voltage conductor 12C on the circuit breaker side. Therefore, the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 can act as a heat dissipation fin for the Joule heat generated by the current flowing in the high voltage conductor 12C on the circuit breaker side. This enables the diameter of the high voltage conductor 12C on the circuit breaker side to be reduced, which helps to miniaturize and lighten the gas-insulated switchgear.

[0051] Example 2

[0052] Next, the second embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the first embodiment, the second sealed container 19 side is used as the power supply side, so the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 is connected to the circuit breaker side high-voltage conductor 12C. In contrast, in the second embodiment, the circuit breaker side high-voltage conductor 12A of the first sealed container 10 is used as the power supply side. In addition, the description of the same components as in the first embodiment is omitted.

[0053] Figure 3 In this embodiment, the gas-insulated switchgear that supports the vacuum circuit breaker 11 in an insulated state inside the first grounded container 10 is provided with an arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24 that is electrically connected to the circuit breaker-side high-voltage conductor 12A disposed inside the first sealed container 10.

[0054] That is, one end 24S of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24 is electrically connected to the circuit breaker-side high-voltage conductor 12A disposed within the first sealed container 10 on the power supply side of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, and the other end 24E is disposed near the vacuum circuit breaker 11 at a predetermined spatial distance. Furthermore, the configuration structure of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24 and the vacuum circuit breaker 11 is the same as in the first embodiment.

[0055] In this embodiment, an arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24 is also arranged near the vacuum circuit breaker 11 to raise the potential of the arc shield 36. This makes the potential difference between the sealed container 10 and the arc shield 36 approximately equal to the potential difference between the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36. This raises the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, suppressing the voltage rise applied between the voltage application section, i.e., the fixed-side electrode 37, and the arc shield 36. As a result, the distance between the fixed-side electrode 37 and the arc shield 36 can be shortened, thus enabling miniaturization of the vacuum circuit breaker.

[0056] Example 3

[0057] Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the first embodiment, the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23 is made such that conductive material is exposed. In contrast, in the third embodiment, an insulating coating is applied to the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 23. Furthermore, descriptions of components identical to those in the first embodiment are omitted.

[0058] Figure 4 In this embodiment, an insulating coating 25C formed of an insulating paint is formed on the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 25 of the gas-insulated switchgear. The insulating coating 25C may be formed on the entire surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 25, or it may be formed only in the necessary parts.

[0059] This configuration of the gas-insulated switchgear can suppress the electric field on the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 25 connected to the high-voltage conductor 12C on the circuit breaker side, thus improving insulation performance. As a result, the insulation distance between the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 25 and its surrounding components can be shortened, allowing for further miniaturization of the gas-insulated switchgear.

[0060] Example 4

[0061] Next, the fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the second embodiment, the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24 is made such that the conductive material is exposed. In contrast, in the fourth embodiment, an insulating coating is applied to the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 24. Furthermore, descriptions of components identical to those in the second embodiment are omitted.

[0062] Figure 5 In this embodiment, an insulating coating 26C formed of an insulating paint is formed on the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 26 of the gas-insulated switchgear. The insulating coating 26C may be formed on the entire surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 26, or it may be formed only in the necessary portions.

[0063] This configuration of the gas-insulated switchgear can suppress the electric field on the surface of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 26 connected to the high-voltage conductor 12A on the circuit breaker side, thus improving insulation performance. As a result, the insulation distance between the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 26 and its surrounding components can be shortened, allowing for further miniaturization of the gas-insulated switchgear.

[0064] Example 5

[0065] Next, the fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the first to fourth embodiments, arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23 to 26 are connected to the circuit breaker-side high-voltage conductors 12C and 12A connected to the vacuum circuit breaker 11. In contrast, in the fifth embodiment, the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 27 is connected to the disconnector-side high-voltage conductor 12B of the first sealed container 10 as the power supply side. Furthermore, descriptions of components identical to those in the first embodiment are omitted.

[0066] Figure 6 The feature is that it is provided with an arc shield voltage regulating conductor 27 which is electrically connected to the high voltage conductor 12B on the disconnecting switch side of the disconnecting switch 13 disposed in the first sealed container 10.

[0067] That is, one end 27S of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 27 is electrically connected to the high-voltage conductor 12B of the isolating switch side disposed inside the first sealed container 10 on the power supply side of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, and the other end 27E is disposed near the vacuum circuit breaker 11 at a "predetermined spatial distance". In addition, the configuration structure of the arc shield voltage regulating conductor 27 and the vacuum circuit breaker 11 is different from the above embodiment, and is disposed in a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the arc shield 36.

[0068] In this embodiment, an arc shield voltage regulating conductor 27 is also arranged near the vacuum circuit breaker 11 to raise the potential of the arc shield 36. This makes the potential difference between the sealed container 10 and the arc shield 36 approximately equal to the potential difference between the high-voltage conductors 12A-12C and the arc shield 36. This raises the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11, suppressing the voltage rise applied between the voltage application part, i.e., the movable side electrode 38, and the arc shield 36. As a result, the distance between the movable side electrode 38 and the arc shield 36 can be shortened, thus enabling miniaturization of the vacuum circuit breaker.

[0069] Example 6

[0070] Next, variations in the shape of the arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23-26 will be described. The aforementioned arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23-26 are solid rods made of conductive material with a circular cross-section. Alternatively, they can be modified to the shape described below. Furthermore, the arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23-26 will be depicted in an exaggerated manner below to aid understanding.

[0071] Figure 7A In this circuit breaker, the arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23-26 are solid rods made of conductive material with an elliptical cross-section. This shape allows the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 to rise. Furthermore, the absence of corners helps suppress electric field concentration.

[0072] in addition, Figure 7B In this embodiment, the arc shield voltage regulating conductors 23-26 are solid rods made of conductive material with an arc or circular cross-section. This shape allows the potential of the arc shield 36 of the vacuum circuit breaker 11 to rise. Furthermore, the absence of corners helps suppress electric field concentration. In this embodiment, the circular cross-section is considered an arc shape.

[0073] As described above, in this invention, a gas-insulated switchgear is configured to support a vacuum circuit breaker having a fixed side electrode and a movable side electrode within a sealed container containing an insulating gas at a ground potential, and with an arc shield arranged around these electrodes, in a state of electrical insulation from the sealed container. The invention is characterized by the provision of an arc shield voltage regulating conductor made of conductive material, which is configured such that one end is electrically connected to a high-voltage conductor on the power supply side of the vacuum circuit breaker, and the other end is located near the vacuum circuit breaker at a predetermined spatial distance.

[0074] Therefore, by increasing the arc shield potential of the vacuum circuit breaker, it is possible to suppress the voltage rise applied between the contact electrode on the voltage application side and the arc shield.

[0075] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, but includes various modifications. For example, the above embodiments are specifically described for ease of understanding of the present invention and are not limited to having all the described structures. Additionally, a part of the structure of one embodiment can be replaced with a part of the structure of another embodiment. Furthermore, it is also possible to add the structure of another embodiment to the structure of one embodiment. Furthermore, for a part of the structure of each embodiment, it is also possible to delete it, add a part of another structure, or replace it with a part of another structure.
