A synchronous mortar for shield tunnels and its preparation method

Abstract

This application relates to the field of building materials technology, specifically disclosing a synchronous mortar for shield tunnels and its preparation method. The synchronous mortar comprises the following components: sand, slag powder, red mud powder, modified bentonite, calcium-based activator, water glass, polycarboxylate superplasticizer, and water. This application modifies sodium-based bentonite using anionic polyacrylamide. The resulting modified bentonite fully utilizes its water absorption, expansion, and waterproofing properties in the synchronous mortar. The calcium-based activator and water glass, together activating the slag powder and red mud powder, give the synchronous mortar good density after hardening, improving its waterproof performance. Furthermore, the electrostatic repulsion of the anionic polyacrylamide reduces the adsorption of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer by the bentonite, improving the fluidity of the synchronous mortar.
