A construction progress calculation method based on surveying point cloud and BIM model

Abstract

This invention discloses a method for calculating the construction progress of various components based on survey point clouds and BIM models, belonging to the field of building technology. It includes: acquiring survey point cloud data of the building at the construction site and importing it into the building BIM model; registering the survey point cloud data to the coordinate system of the building BIM model; converting the geometric outline of each component in the building BIM model into a model point cloud; for each component, employing a projection analysis method based on feature directions, and dividing the projection plane into several sub-regions, ultimately obtaining the area of ​​each sub-region on the three projection planes of each component; calculating the construction progress of the component based on the ratio of the area of ​​each sub-region on the three projection planes of the survey data and the model data for each component. This invention combines the BIM model with the component projection analysis method, achieving the calculation effect of the ratio of the sub-regions of the survey point cloud outline to the BIM model outline from the survey point cloud and the BIM model, and using this calculation result to calculate the actual construction progress of the component.
