Abstract

The present invention uses SNX3 gene knockout mice as experimental subjects to study the function of the SNX3 gene in liver fibrosis. The results show that SNX3 gene deletion can reduce liver fibrosis induced by bile duct ligation, suggesting that SNX3 can be used as a therapeutic target for liver fibrosis; in addition, si-SNX3, which inhibits SNX3 protein and gene expression in the present invention, has been verified to effectively inhibit liver fibrosis through cell experiments; it can be seen that SNX3 inhibitors are effective drugs for the treatment of liver fibrosis. The present invention provides a new means for the treatment of liver fibrosis. SNX3 is expected to target the multiple pathogenesis of liver fibrosis and has the potential to become an application target for the prevention and treatment of various liver diseases.
