Process for the production of catalysts for the synthesis of melamine from urea by the gas phase method

Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of catalyst, and discloses a production method of a melamine catalyst for synthesizing melamine by a gas phase method, which comprises the following steps: 1) putting fly ash, sodium silicate, pseudo-boehmite, borax and sodium chloride into a ball mill tank after weighing according to a certain proportion to perform high-energy ball milling, and obtaining product A; 2) sequentially washing product A with a dilute acid solution and deionized water, and centrifuging and filtering to obtain product B; 3) immersing product B in a weak acid solution to obtain an immersed system, and then performing suction filtration, washing and drying to obtain product C; and 4) performing calcination on product C, screening and removing fine particles smaller than 8 microns, and finally obtaining a catalyst product meeting the requirements. The method realizes the reuse of solid waste, energy saving and environmental protection, and cost saving. The catalyst prepared has high activity, good selectivity and high strength, the consumption of catalyst and urea of a device is reduced, the quality of the product produced is good, byproducts are few, and the device has a long running cycle.
