Glass aggregate for inhibiting alkali-aggregate reaction and method for producing the same

Abstract

This invention discloses a glass aggregate for inhibiting alkali-aggregate reaction and its preparation method, belonging to the field of building materials technology. The method includes the following steps: S1. Mixing glass powder, sulfoaluminate cement, metakaolin, and zirconium oxide evenly to obtain a mixed powder; S2. Mixing a silane coupling agent, a carboxylic acid polymer, and water evenly to obtain a mixed liquid, then mixing the mixed powder and the mixed liquid and stirring evenly to obtain a modified slurry; S3. Immersing the coarse glass aggregate in the modified slurry obtained in step S2, fully coating it, then removing it and allowing it to stand and dry, thus obtaining the glass aggregate for inhibiting alkali-aggregate reaction. The method of this invention can simultaneously isolate alkaline substances and reduce alkalinity, thereby effectively inhibiting the occurrence of alkali-aggregate reaction.
