Hydrophobic crosslinking monomer, thickening agent for fracturing fluid, and preparation method and application thereof

Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of functional polymers, specifically relating to a hydrophobic crosslinking monomer, a thickener for fracturing fluid, its preparation method, and its application. The preparation method involves dissolving an alkenyl amide, alkenyl sulfonic acid, a fluorocarbon chain hydrophobic monomer, and the hydrophobic crosslinking monomer with the stereostructure described in this invention in an organic solvent. The mixture is stirred until dissolved to obtain a liquid-phase reactant. An inert gas is introduced to remove dissolved oxygen. An initiator is added, and the mixture is heated to 44–105°C in an inert gas atmosphere. The reaction is carried out with stirring for 12–36 hours to obtain a crude product. The crude product is then precipitated, filtered, washed, and dried to obtain the target product. This fracturing thickener exhibits good thickening effect and strong shear and salt resistance.
