Apparatus and method for hot bending of a canopy glass

Abstract

The application relates to a hot bending manufacturing device and method of a sky dome glass, which comprises a male die base and a flexible pressing assembly. The male die base comprises a male die, and the flexible pressing assembly comprises a plurality of counterweight pressing blocks. The counterweight pressing blocks are connected into a ring or net structure by flexible wires. During hot bending manufacturing, the sky dome glass is placed on the top of the male die of the male die base, and the flexible pressing assembly is placed on the sky dome glass. At least the edge area of the sky dome glass is pressed to make the sky dome glass soften and adhere to the male die to realize hot bending forming. The application omits the upper female die and uses the flexible pressing assembly to press the sky dome glass, so that the sky dome glass adheres to the male die base to realize hot bending forming. On the basis of ensuring the stability of the curvature of the sky dome glass, the manufacturing and using costs of the die are reduced, the hot bending processing process is optimized, the female die hoisting or die pushing operation is not needed, the problem that the large-size sky dome glass is easily damaged by the female die is solved, and the hot bending manufacturing cost of the sky dome glass is effectively reduced.
