KASP molecular marker primer for identifying grain length of rice and application thereof

Abstract

The application discloses a KASP molecular marker primer for identifying grain length of rice, which comprises two forward primers with nucleotide sequences as shown in SEQ ID NO. 1 and 2, and a universal reverse primer with a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO. 3. By means of the KASP molecular marker primer, KASP typing is carried out in a rice separation population, and after PCR amplification, a fluorescence signal is directly observed and read, so that the typing condition of a GL7 allele can be rapidly, efficiently and accurately detected, and the grain length character result of the detected rice is obtained. The molecular marker primer provided by the application has important significance for breeding long-grain high-quality breeding materials or varieties by means of assisted selection in rice breeding.
