Abstract

The present invention provides an adaptive display method and a display system for outdoor large screens, comprising obtaining a target resolution; selecting a virtual graphics card set including at least one virtual graphics card from a configured virtual graphics card list, and making the total resolution of the selected virtual graphics card set meet the target resolution; reading display data at a set resolution of each virtual graphics card in the selected virtual graphics card set, if the virtual graphics card set includes one virtual graphics card, the display data at the set resolution of the virtual graphics card is projected onto the large screen for display, if the virtual graphics card set includes multiple virtual graphics cards, the display data at the set resolution of all virtual graphics cards are combined, and the combined display data is projected onto the large screen for display. The present invention dynamically obtains the target resolution and intelligently selects a virtual graphics card set for combination to achieve a high-resolution, multi-screen fusion display effect.
