The application discloses a porous catalytic electrode for electrolysis of water, a preparation method thereof and an electrolysis device, and relates to the technical field of hydrogen production by electrolysis of water.The application adopts a solid deposition method, and accelerates and deposits carbonyl nickel powder on the surface of a preheated nickel mesh.When the carbonyl nickel powder impacts on the surface of the nickel mesh, kinetic energy of the carbonyl nickel powder is converted into internal energy, and then the surface of the nickel mesh is melted, and then the carbonyl nickel powder is welded to the surface of the nickel mesh.When a large amount of the carbonyl nickel powder is welded to the surface of the nickel mesh, a catalytic functional layer with a multi-scale structure is formed on the surface of the nickel mesh.The method provided by the application can omit the alkali activation treatment step, can significantly reduce environmental pollution, and can improve the bonding strength of the catalytic functional layer and the nickel mesh.
