Abstract

The present invention discloses a continuous process for the rapid depolymerization and polycondensation of PET, belonging to the technical field of PET recycling. The process comprises the following steps: mixing PET with bis(hydroxyethyl) terephthalate, performing a continuous depolymerization reaction under a thermal shear flow field, and conveying the depolymerization product into a polymerization reaction vessel for a polycondensation reaction, thereby completing the rapid depolymerization and polycondensation of PET. The alcoholysis agent BHET provided by the present invention can replace EG for the depolymerization of PET, effectively resolving the problem of instantaneous vaporization and volatilization of EG in an extruder, reducing environmental pollution, and opening up new ideas for the chemical recycling of waste PET.
