A polypropylene composite foamed sheet formed by compression foaming and a preparation method and application thereof

Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of polymer materials technology, specifically relating to a compression-molded polypropylene composite foam board, its preparation method, and its application. The polypropylene composite foam board has a layered structure, including at least one reinforcing composite sheet and at least one polypropylene foam sheet bonded to the reinforcing composite sheet via compression molding. Each reinforcing composite sheet includes at least one layer of polypropylene sheet / fabric. The polypropylene sheet includes layer A and layers B and B' located on either side of layer A, forming a BAB' structure. The melting point of polypropylene composition A is greater than the melting points of polypropylene B and polypropylene B'. The compression molding is a physical foaming process. This invention utilizes compression molding, offering numerous production advantages. The resulting polypropylene composite foam board also exhibits high compressive strength and is easily recyclable.
