Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of traffic engineering, and provides an array type left-turn secondary signal control method for a large four-way roundabout. The large four-way roundabout comprises an east-direction road, a south-direction road, a west-direction road, a north-direction road and a central roundabout at the intersection position of the four roads, and each entrance lane is provided with a plurality of lanes; a first stop line and a signal control lamp are arranged at the entrance of the entrance lane; a second stop line and a signal control lamp are arranged in front of the conflict position of the traffic flow of each entrance lane and the straight left-turn traffic flow of the opposite entrance lane on the loop; a third parking line and a pre-signal control lamp are arranged behind the first parking line of each entrance lane, no special lane is divided between the first parking line and the third parking line except the right-turn lane, and a left-turn lane, a straight lane and a right-turn lane are sequentially arranged behind the third parking line from left to right. By adopting the scheme, the traffic capacity of the large four-way roundabout can be improved, the average delay of vehicles is reduced, and the congestion is reduced.
