Packet broadcast method and apparatus, electronic device, and storage medium

Abstract

Embodiments of the present application provide a message broadcast method and device, electronic equipment and storage medium. In the embodiments, when a first outgoing interface corresponding to a first outgoing interface identifier in a broadcast table (any outgoing interface identifier in the broadcast table) fails or exits VPLS, the number N of outgoing interfaces recorded in the broadcast table is maintained unchanged, and the first outgoing interface identifier in the first position in the broadcast table is updated to a second outgoing interface identifier in the broadcast table (the second outgoing interface corresponding to the second outgoing interface identifier is normal). In this way, the message originally broadcast to the first outgoing interface is switched to the second outgoing interface, which avoids the defect that the message continues to be broadcast to the outgoing interface when the outgoing interface in the broadcast table fails or exits VPLS.
