Double-color torsional hollow display micro-unit, preparation method and display panel

Abstract

The invention discloses a two-color twistable hollow display microstructure, and relates to the field of electronic paper display, the microstructure comprises a hollow spherical polymer, a first polymer chain grafted on a first half part of the hollow spherical polymer, and a second polymer chain grafted on a second half part of the hollow spherical polymer; the first polymer chain and the second polymer chain have opposite charge polarities and different colors. In addition, the invention further discloses a manufacturing method of the double-color twistable hollow display microstructure and a double-color twistable hollow display panel. Based on the structural design of a two-color torsional hollow sphere, two kinds of particles with different charge attributes are grafted on the surface of a single hollow microsphere, the rapid overturning and color changing capabilities are realized under the stimulation of an electric field, and the hollow design is adopted by the microsphere, so that the mass is reduced, and the dynamic response speed of the microsphere in the electric field is increased.
