Abstract

The invention discloses a protein for inducing a plant immune function as well as a coding gene, an expression vector and application thereof. The invention finds a gene which is derived from pythium ultimum and can trigger plant allergic reaction (HR) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation, the gene can stimulate HR and promote ROS accumulation, and the gene is named as PyEli17. An agrobacterium-mediated transient expression system is utilized to objectively evaluate and find that the expression quantity of PTI-related pathway genes can be remarkably improved, and it is proved that the plant immune disease-resistant effect can be effectively activated. And research and development of plant immune resistance inducers are facilitated. Due to the powerful function of the gene, the gene can be used as a candidate gene for developing a plant immune resistance inducer, and the gene can be directly introduced into a plant body by utilizing a transgenic technology to develop and cultivate a disease-resistant variety.
