Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for judging the boiling criticality of the cooling surface of a superconducting magnet cooled by liquid helium, and relates to the technical field of thermal simulation. The method comprises the following steps: establishing a three-dimensional physical model of the superconducting magnet, and acquiring three-dimensional magnetic field distribution of the superconducting magnet based on the three-dimensional physical model; obtaining critical heat flux density distribution of the superconducting magnet based on the three-dimensional magnetic field distribution and the gravity field; obtaining AC loss thermal power distribution of the superconducting magnet based on the three-dimensional magnetic field distribution, performing thermal simulation analysis on the AC loss thermal power distribution, and determining heat flux density distribution of the cooling surface of the superconducting magnet; and comparing the heat flux density distribution with the critical heat flux density distribution, and determining the liquid helium boiling state on the surface of the superconducting magnet.
