Abstract

The invention discloses a road surface detection method, handheld edge computing equipment and road surface detection equipment, and relates to the technical field of road surface detection and edge computing. According to the road surface detection method, when a handheld edge computing device is held by a user and moves along a patrol line, multiple pieces of road surface image information on the patrol line are obtained, edge computing is conducted on the multiple pieces of road surface image information, corresponding first road surface data are generated, and meanwhile the multiple pieces of road surface image information are uploaded to a cloud platform; and receiving second road surface data returned by the cloud platform and obtained after information processing based on the road surface image information, and then fusing the first road surface data and the second road surface data to generate a corresponding road surface evaluation result. Thus, by obtaining the multiple pieces of road surface image information on the patrol line and combining the edge calculation of the handheld edge calculation equipment and the data processing capacity of the cloud platform, accurate detection of the road surface condition can be achieved, and the accuracy of road surface detection is improved.
