Overload avoidance support system for rolling equipment

Abstract

An overload avoidance support system is provided with a recording means, a data collection device, a determination device, and a guidance device. The recording unit records product information of steel plates manufactured in the past in a database; steel plate time unit information; rolling equipment time unit information; steel plate length unit information and rolling equipment length unit information; and a plurality of past operational data including ultimate strikes, alarms, and coping methods generated during rolling; the data gathering device gathers the recorded plurality of past operation data for each piece of product information. The determination device determines the past operation data of another steel plate similar to the past operation data of the target steel plate to be rolled as similar past operation data from among the plurality of collected past operation data. The guidance device causes the display unit to display guidance including a limit touch, an alarm, and a coping method included in the similar past operation data prior to rolling of the target steel plate.
