A modified expandable aerosol flame retardant and its preparation method and application

Abstract

The present invention discloses a modified expandable aerosol flame retardant, its preparation method, and application. The aerosol flame retardant is composed of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of diatomaceous earth; 2-10 parts of phytic acid-modified expandable graphite; 1-2 parts of white carbon; 5-8 parts of calcium hydroxide; 6-9 parts of fly ash; and 5-10 parts of magnesium hydroxide. Diatomaceous earth, white carbon, calcium hydroxide, fly ash, magnesium hydroxide, and phytic acid-modified expandable graphite are sequentially added to a blender and stirred for 10 minutes to uniformly mix the materials, thereby obtaining a modified expandable aerosol flame retardant. The flame retardant can be used to prevent and control spontaneous combustion of coal in goafs. The present invention achieves comprehensive and uniform coverage of the easily combustible areas of goafs and is suitable for complex and concealed spontaneous combustion situations. The modified product used in the present invention has an increased density of the expandable material and strong heat absorption.
