Method and apparatus in communication node used for wireless communication

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and an apparatus in a communication node used for wireless communication. A communication node receives a first message, wherein the first message configures a first threshold value and a second threshold value; in response to a first set of conditions being satisfied, performing a measurement on a first frequency on which a serving cell of the first node is on; whether the first set of conditions is satisfied depends on whether a first reception quality is better than the first threshold value and whether a second reception quality is better than the second threshold value, the first reception quality being a cell selection reception level of the serving cell of the first node, and the second reception quality being a cell selection reception level of the serving cell of the second node. The second reception quality is a cell selection quality of the serving cell of the first node; whether the first set of conditions is satisfied depends on a first set of parameters that depends on previous measurements. According to the scheme provided by the invention, too early measurement or too late measurement is avoided.
