The invention provides a detection method and device for chemical protective clothing, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the inflation operation or exhaust operation of a corresponding detection mode on the chemical protective clothing through a detection device connected to a preset part of the chemical protective clothing, enabling the preset part to correspond to the detection mode, and enabling different detection modes to correspond to different preset parts; and detecting the pressure of the preset part through the detection device to obtain a detection value, and comparing the detection value with the preset standard range of the corresponding detection mode to obtain a detection result. The overall detection process is simple and standard, different preset parts on the chemical protective clothing can have corresponding detection modes, the corresponding detection device has a wider application scene, the overall and local detection time of the chemical protective clothing can be effectively saved, and the detection efficiency is improved.
