By constructing a spatiotemporal topology model of urban rail transit network and a breadth-first search algorithm, combined with passenger transaction data and train timetables, the characteristics of passenger travel behavior are accurately estimated. This solves the shortcomings of manual surveys and hypothetical calculations in existing technologies and enables precise analysis of passenger travel time distribution.

Abstract

Travel data is acquired and analyzed and processed; a breadth-first algorithm with constraints is used to search for a feasible path set between OD pairs that meets the maximum transfer number constraint; passenger travel chains are reconstructed; single-path and single-transfer passengers are distributed to trains through a path time similarity index, and then travel chains of the two types of passengers are obtained; the standard deviation of train arrival time is used as the standard deviation of passenger waiting time on the platform, and passenger entry / exit walking time distribution and transfer walking time distribution are calculated. The method for estimating passenger travel behavior characteristics of urban rail transit can accurately estimate passenger entry / exit walking time distribution at all stations in the urban rail transit network, transfer walking time distribution in each transfer direction at transfer stations, and waiting time distribution at each station.
