Abstract

The invention provides a cable connecting device and a connecting method, the cable connecting device comprises a male end body and a female end body, the male end body and the female end body are respectively used for being connected with a cable, and the male end body and the female end body are detachably connected in a plugging mode; the male end body and the female end body are both provided with end assemblies, each end assembly comprises a connecting seat, a moving cylinder and a connector, the connecting seat is provided with a wire hole, one end of the connecting seat is provided with a threaded hole communicated with the wire hole, and the other end of the connecting seat is provided with a guide groove; and the connecting seat is connected with the male end body or the female end body through the threaded hole. An extending part is arranged on the side, close to the guide groove, of the clamp, a plurality of receding grooves are formed in the side face of the extending part, a pressing block is rotationally arranged in each receding groove, and the extending part is sleeved with the moving cylinder. According to the invention, the tensile strength is better in actual use, the difficulty can be effectively reduced, and the assembly efficiency is improved.
