CAN communication dynamic encryption method for vehicle ECU

Abstract

The invention discloses a CAN communication dynamic encryption method for a vehicle ECU. The method comprises the following steps: S1, receiving a message; s2, the message ID and the number of the signals are subjected to remainder extraction, and a variable A is obtained; s3, moving the variable A leftwards by 8 bits and an upper preset value to obtain a variable B; step S4, obtaining input data used for calculating the inspection and the CheckSum; s5, performing CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) on the input data to obtain a calculated value of the check and the CheckSum; and step S6, comparing the calculated value and the received value of the check and the CheckSum, and judging whether the received message is credible or not. According to the method, the complexity of communication data encryption can be effectively improved, the probability of cracking the communication content between the automobile ECUs is reduced, and the purpose that lawbreakers control the automobile by sending counterfeit CAN signals is prevented.
