Garment fastener

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a fastener (216) that may be used with a variety of garments, and may be easier to handle, and less likely to cause discomfort to the wearer. In at least some examples, the fastener includes a hook (220) that may be connected to a first portion (212) of the article and a receiver (218) that may be connected to a second portion (214) of the article (110). The hook (220) may be releasably connected to the receiver (218) to selectively secure the first portion (212) of the article to the second portion (214) of the article. The receiver (218) may include various elements, and in one example, the receiver includes a slot (222) that may receive the bend (226) of the hook at various angles and orientations. Additionally, the receiver (218) may include a crossbar (224) (e.g., an anchor) that cooperates with the bend (226) of the hook (220) to hold the hook in a fixed position.
